January 29th 2025

The UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration through Education, Language, and Arts (REILA) has launched its very first MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) "Working with Cultural Data: A Creative Approach" on the FutureLearn platform and it is free for anyone to sign up.

This three-week course is designed for students, researchers, artists, academics, journalists, and others who work with cultural data. It is ideal for those seeking to preserve the 'human element' in their work and to explore ways of blending data analysis with creative methods, enhancing their ability to connect with the people they work with.

It offers a refreshing change from modes of data extraction. Learners will explore the dynamic intersection of arts, culture and research, gaining fresh insights into creative ways of working with cultural data.
