Published by The Heritage Alliance in partnership with Europa Nostra UK and supported by World Monuments Fund Britain, this report explores how the UK’s heritage sector contributes to international collaboration, cultural diplomacy and global partnership.

Drawing on more than 30 case studies, it highlights how heritage organisations are building international networks through knowledge exchange, conservation partnerships and shared research. The report includes a case study on the work of the UK National Commission for UNESCO, showcasing programmes such as Local to Global and the Climate Change and UNESCO Heritage initiative, which demonstrate how UNESCO-designated sites can support international collaboration and shared solutions to global challenges.
