Expressions of Interest sought for Climate Change & UNESCO Heritage Evaluation Consultant

The UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) is seeking an evaluation consultant to identify suitable approaches for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our high-profile pilot project: ‘Climate Change and UNESCO Heritage.

Overseen by the UKNC and the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS), the pilot will test innovative ways to tackle the impacts of climate change on the UK’s cultural and natural heritage in three pilot UNESCO designated sites through the sharing and better use of spatial and non-spatial data. 

The consultant will produce an overall evaluation plan for the pilot, complete with reporting framework, to be used by both the central UKNC project team and by teams at the three project pilot sites. Additionally, the consultant will return to support the end of project evaluation needs.

The successful applicant will be expected to start work on the commission by Monday 25th March 2024.
