Before we begin...

Before we begin, let's first make sure you are eligible to apply for UNESCO Patronage through the UK National Commission for UNESCO's accreditation process. If you are not eligible to apply, we will try and point you in the right direction. Please note, if these criteria questions state that you are not eligible to apply and you feel you are, please fill out the form and we can advise you further.
Is the proposed activity taking place in the UK (including Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies)?
Great! 👍 You should be eligible to apply
Please note, we usually provide an accreditation service for activities taking place in the UK, its Overseas Territories, and Crown Dependencies. If you are a UK individual or organisation looking for patronage for an activity taking place outside the UK we may be able to help, so please do proceed with an expression of interest.
Is the Patronage request for a commercial activity?
Great! 👍 You should be eligible to apply
UNESCO's name and logo cannot be used for activities or events of a commercial nature. However, for example, if you are holding an event and charge for admission to cover costs but are not making a profit, your event may be eligible.
