Proposals sought for Climate Change & UNESCO Heritage Stakeholder Mapping & User Research Consultant

April 2024

The UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) is seeking proposals from consultants with expertise in stakeholder mapping & analysis, audience development and user research to deliver novel approaches for its high-profile new pilot project: ‘Climate Change and UNESCO Heritage’.

Overseen by the UKNC and the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS), the pilot will test innovative ways to tackle the impacts of climate change on the UK’s cultural and natural heritage in three pilot UNESCO designated sites through the sharing and better use of spatial and non-spatial data.

The consultant will help us understand the different stakeholders, organisations and players, both nationally and through three UNESCO designated sites in the UK, explore their relationships to the interconnected impacts of climate change on natural and cultural heritage in the UK, and develop recommended joint-working approaches that support cross-sectoral and community collaboration, with a specific focus on data sharing needs.

Proposals should be in line with the submission requirements set out in the brief, and should be submitted by email to Aisling Parrish, Project Administrator ([email protected]) no later than 12 noon on Friday 3rd May 2024.
